Beautiful vintage wooden dolls house 1960’s with original 60’s furniture by LOUIS MARX. We invested in this with having intentions too restore it but with having a new little person we just wouldn’t have time so we would love too pass it on to someone who would have time and bring this beauty back too life! Sadly there is damage too some of the wood and the windows and doors have been removed too which do need tightening/fixing. It has its original paintwork and wall paper inside as we thought we would keep some originality which i think is beautiful as it is! Some damage too the dining table but we kept the little feet so it can be restored. Some cute little furniture the little iron and kettle are my favourite. Please be aware this house needs work time and patience and it isn’t new or fully usable! It wouldn’t be safe for a child too play with with having broken wood and little pieces! Vintage Wooden Dolls House, Furnished, Garage & Conservatory, Opens Front & Back

A very pretty vintage painted wooden doublefronted dolls house, with well proportioned and decorated rooms on two floors, a garage with balcony above, and a conservatory. It’s unusual to have a front door and back door, and opening from the front and the back. There are two full length from front to back rooms, two other front rooms, a downstairs toilet and and two rooms at the back, connected by the ground and upper halls, making eight rooms in total. It has a proper staircase and an upstairs and downstairs hall. Many items of furniture are included in the price. It doesn’t have any original catches for the opening walls, but it would be simple to fit hinges and catches. There is also a garden wall, shown in the last photo. The conservatory is not attached, but could connect with the garage by enlarging a window into a door at the side of the garage. The house was made from the plan in “Making a Miniature House” by Guy R Williams, OUP, 1964. Also for sale, see my other items. THE HOUSE IS ALL WOODEN AND HAS THE COLORS PRESSED OR STENCILED ON THE WOOD. THE HOUSE IS A TWO STORY WITH THE FRONT OPENING. HAS THE ORIGINAL HINGES AND LATCH. INSIDE IS THE SAME AS OUTSIDE WITH THE COLOR STAMPED INTO THE WOOD. ALSO STAMPED CONVERSE ON THE INSIDE. THE HOUSE DOES HAVE A MISSING PIECE ON THE BACK A REPAIR ON ONE ONE OF IT’S ROOF AND 2 CHIPS OUT OF THE WOOD ON THE FRONT. ONE AT THE PEAK AND ONE DOWN ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF THE SIDE ROOF.
