Our Dickens’ family downsized from a larger house and never finished decorating, the contents have been painstakingly collected over many years and it really is delightful. This new house just needs painting and papering and it would be a stunning heirloom. There is a porcelain tea set, metal utensils, christmas dinner, high chair, christmas tree with presents, a backgammon set, miniature doll’s houses etc. The lamps and the tree lights need new batteries, especially the Tiffany lamp in the dining room, they are watch batteries and easily found in the shops. There are glowing coals in the fire grate which I could not photograph successfully and they need a new battery as well. It is 61 cm high, 31 cm deep and 52 cm wide. It’s over four floors and comes complete with lots of furniture and accessories and a full family of dolls, a dog and a cat who all live in the house. Apart from the small nicks to the roof which you can see in the photo, the dolls house is in lovely condition – on and one chimney is a slightly different colour than the other as it was. Beautiful Victorian Wooden Dolls House on Stand with Contents. Lovely Victorian dolls house dates from circa 1885. Complete with antique contents, set out like a little tea room. House is all wood and quite heavy mounted on a wooden stand. Roof opens, side door opens and front door opens. House measures 74cm in height and 67cm in width. The contents is a similar age and has little marble topped tables, wooden cane furniture, piano, counter with marble top with cakes, plates etc etc. Three antique dolls house dolls. Condition: New hinges have been replaced to roof, a couple of cracks to the wood but good solid condition. Collection from Norwich, or I can deliver/meet within a 30 mile radius of Norwich City.
