Large Wooden Doll’s House Vintage Victorian Style 1:12th Scale. This listing is for a large wooden Victorian townhouse style doll’s house. 3 floors, 6 rooms and 3 central hallway rooms connected by stairs. 9 exterior windows, 6 interior doorways and a front door. Fully painted outside, all the rooms have decorated walls and floors. The roof is decorated with a tile pattern and has two chimney stacks decorated with brick pattern. 85cm tall (69cm base to roof trim, 16cm roof trim to top of chimney stacks). 55cm wide, 27cm deep (roof trim and base come out a little further – 57.5 wide, 30cm deep). Rooms are 19.5cm across, 22cm floor to ceiling and 25.5cm deep. Hallways are 12.5cm across, 22cm floor to ceiling and 25.5cm deep. Doorways are 6.5cm wide and 14cm tall. Windows are 5cm wide and 12cm tall. It has an electrical component built into the back of the roof which is supposed to power light fixtures in all the rooms, however I do not know how or if this works, and only one of the rooms actually has a bulb in its ceiling. Needs some redecorating however, a good craft project for someone. The house has been sat near a window for some time and the sun has faded the wallpaper of the rooms in places. The paper covering of the roof and chimney stacks is tattered and peeling. The house is also missing one window panel and one interior door. The paintwork of the front door is scratched. I’m not certain where this doll’s house was originally manufactured, it has been in my family for many years and I’ve not seen another one like it during my research for pricing.
